Undergraduate International Application Information

First-Year International Application Deadlines

First-year international applicants are in high school or have graduated from high school but have not taken any college courses after graduating or earning an equivalent credential.

  • Oct. 1: Spring application deadline
  • Nov. 15: Fall and summer early action deadline
  • Jan. 15: Fall and summer regular decision deadline

Applications for all 2025 semesters will open Aug. 1, 2024.

First-Year Application Checklist

Transfer International Application Deadlines

Transfer international applicants have attended another college or university since earning their high school diploma or GED. Transfer international applicants are looking to complete a bachelor’s degree at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder.

  • Oct. 1: Spring international transfer application deadline
  • March 15: Summer international transfer application deadline
  • March 15: Fall early notification international transfer deadline
  • June 1: Fall regular decision international transfer application

Submit Remaining Required Documents

While it is possible to gain admission to the university before sending your TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo score, your Form I-20 immigration document cannot be issued until we receive your official results and you have met the English proficiency requirement.

Submit Proof of Financial Support

If you are academically eligible for admission to the university and you need a Form I-20 (for an F-1 visa) or a Form DS-2019 (for a J-1 visa), you must submit evidence of full financial support sufficient for all first-year expenses at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder with required documentation before we can finalize your admission and issue any immigration forms.
