Hi, I’m Gavin Crowson! I’m a media production major with a sports media minor. Here at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, I’ve spent my 4 years being a Digital Creative Intern for the athletic department, creating content for all of our sports teams, but I’ve spent the most time with our soccer team here at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥. When I’m not out at Prentup Field, I’m in the mountains hiking and taking landscape photos or watching my favorite soccer team Manchester United.Ìý
The Beautiful Game in Our Beautiful Backyard is an interactive map showcasing soccer pitches here in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥. My goal for this project was to combine my love for shooting sports and landscapes. Creating this map was also a way for me to explore more of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, with some of these pitches taking me to places I never knew existed. Within the map, there are 30 different fields with various images showcasing them in unique ways and perspectives.Ìý
