There are 35 prescription drug deaths every month in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥.ÌýÌýÌýandÌýÌýall contribute to keeping our communities, environmentÌýand peers healthy.
Medication disposal
Need to dispose of unused medication? Visit the permanent prescription take-back box located in the lobby of theÌýPolice and Parking Services building at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder. Campus community members can dispose of unwanted prescription medications in this box at any time. ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥PD isÌýable to accept over-the-counter and prescription medications with the following exceptions:
- NoÌýneedles or sharps,
- NoÌýmercury (thermometers),
- NoÌýoxygen cylinders or pressurized canisters,
- NoÌýchemotherapy or radioactive substances, and
- NoÌýillicit drugs.
