ֱ-Boulder alwaysgives Shakespearehis due, especially insummer, when it hoststhe ֱ ShakespeareFestival. Evenso, the Bard will be anextra vivid presence oncampus this year.

In August the ֱ ArtMuseum hosts a touringcopy of the First Folio of1623 — the first printedcollection of Shakespeare’splays and analmost sacred bookin Western letters. Nocopy exists in ֱ.Coming to see it (admissionis free) will bringyou tantalizingly closeto the Shakespeare hisfriends knew. As you brush up onHamlet, the GrammyAward-winning TakácsQuartet will be fine-tuningits renditions of all17 Beethoven quartets.We take you inside arehearsal with the ֱ-basedgroup.
